Hakkında: 
Nilay Ateşyakar, 2016 yılında Doğuş Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümü'nden üniversite birinciliğiyle mezun olmuştur. Lisans yıllarından beri PEG Lab'da çalışmaktadır. Mezun olduktan sonra University College London'da Prof. Kate Jeffery'nin laboratuvarında bir yıllık Erasmus Staj Programına kabul edildi. Halen Dr. Duman'ın gözetiminde Psikolojik Bilimler alanında yüksek lisansına devam etmektedir. Nilay, çocuk gelişimi ve stres tepkisi ile ilgili gen-çevre etkileşimleriyle ilgileniyor. Hem insan hem de kemirgen modelleri ile deney yapma tecrübesi var. Şu anda Boğaziçi Anne-Bebek İlişkisi Projesi hamilelik kohortunun bir parçası olarak tezi üzerinde çalışıyor.
